Cegid Retail Y2 is the complete omnichannel end-to-end POS system. Cegid mPOS, part of the Cegid Retail Y2 product suite, is a mobile POS solution designed to help retailers drive engagement with customers and create new sales opportunities. mPOS makes it easy for sales associates to search for products, search and edit customer details, create and manage orders and take electronic payments. It provides mobile access to omnichannel services including click-and-collect and home delivery, and to a retailer’s extended product catalogue and real-time stock information. Cegid mPOS empowers store staff to bring a full suite of mobile POS and omnichannel services direct to customers on the shop floor.

MWC Partners undertake Cegid Retail development projects to build enhancements to the core product. Below are some examples of recent Cegid Retail development enhancements we have delivered to clients: Customer-Facing Screens- This enhancement helps retailers engage customers at point of sale with eye-catching video, strong branding and clearly displayed transaction information. Retailers upgrade conventional 2x20 customer displays to larger format screens which can be mounted on existing point of sale furniture. Benefits include new opportunities for cross-selling and marketing. Quick Cash- Quick Cash suggests to till operators the likely amounts of cash a customer will tender based on the transaction total. Sales assistants can quickly and accurately input cash tendered with a single button press. Benefits include faster transaction time and reduced operator error. Postcode Look-up- Quickly and accurately capture customers' address details with postcode look-up by populating the whole address form with the postcode and house number. This enhancement is powered by the UK's most accurate and up-to-date postcode database from Royal Mail. Free quarterly updates and unlimited searches are included with your licence.

MWC Partners design and develop payment connectors to integrate payment solutions from some of the world’s leading payment service providers (PSPs) to leading POS systems. We have designed and built integrations for many major PSPs, including for payment solutions offered by Adyen, Cybersource, Planet and Worldpay from FIS.

Our POS hardware portfolio, of point of sale base units and screens, hand-held terminals, customer displays, PEDs, receipt printers and scanners allows us to offer clients a comprehensive range of products from which to choose to meet performance requirements and budget constraints.

Our operations team provides a full range of build and deployment and POS rollout services ranging from simple peripheral upgrades through to full system deployment. Our workshop area totals in excess of 200 square metres. Luxury British men’s sportswear brand Cole Buxton has seen rapid growth as the company has established and developed its online operations. In the summer of 2021, Head of Operations Amar Dehal set out to select new retail systems to support the company’s plans for a physical retail presence. Amar needed a feature-rich, scalable and mobile point of sale solution that would allow the company to drive engagement with customers and which would reflect the brand’s values and image.
